In our popular 12-week course, we do not waste time with meaningless activity. We show you what you need to know in order to trade in the financial markets. Configure price charts, identify trend, assess momentum, use a sound trading strategy, and more. We discuss individual stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds, and futures.

Course material covers the three major forms of trading:

• Day trading — Go in and out of the markets several times per day. Great for individuals with substantial time availability during market hours.

• Swing Trading — Capture price moves that last from one to five days. Great for people with existing daytime jobs or other commitments.

• Position Trading — Move money occasionally during the year. Great for market participants with retirement or investment-club accounts.

This course offers access to a variety of educational materials and methods. You will learn through independent study (readings, videos, exercises), forum participation, live online review sessions, and guided practice. Because success in the markets is highly dependent on what you do and not just what you know, practical application is an important component.
